You can access the Virtual Doorman from our mobile app, your computer, or from the video intercom at the building’s entrance. Virtual Doorman is always there, awaiting your needs.

REMOTE OPERATORS
Virtual Doorman works with a combination of technology and our remote operators at our command center. Our remote operators, also known as command center operators, are your eyes and ears throughout your building. They verify delivery personnel, guests, locked out residents, and keep an eye on your cameras for suspicious activity.
Remote operators can also be made available to provide call answering services, monitor maintenance and repair, and take care of other day-to-day building management responsibilities. When you have Virtual Doorman, you don’t just have the most advanced remote doorman technology on the market, you also have the assistance of our remote operators — real people who are there for you and your tenants day or night.

RESIDENT LOCKOUT PROTECTION
Occasionally, a tenant may forget or lose their key, and when this happens Virtual Doorman can assist the tenant in gaining access to their home. The resident can use the video intercom system found at the front door and the remote operators will work with the Virtual Doorman to verify the resident’s identity.
This provides convenience for both the tenant and the property manager, as it just takes a few minutes, and the property manager does not have to be contacted immediately. If the resident needs a new key card or fob made, the property manager can do so from the building management portal at a time that is convenient for the manager and the tenant.

ELECTRONIC KEY SAFE
Virtual Doorman can also provide an electronic key safe. If you have a guest or a staff member who needs to gain access to the building, you can leave a spare key in the electronic key safe. The key safe is then opened with a pin that you can provide to those who require it.

ALLOWS DELIVERIES
Virtual Doorman is designed to accept deliveries. The delivery personnel use the video intercom system at the front door, where the remote operators will work with the Virtual Doorman to verify their identity. Once verified, the delivery personnel will be allowed to bring the package into a secure package room. The resident will then be notified of the delivery. The entire time that the delivery person is on the premise, they will be monitored by our remote operators for safety. Building managers can access this video at any time to review deliveries.

GREETS AND VERIFIES GUESTS
Virtual Doorman is also designed to verify and grant access to guests. The process for guests is very similar to the process for deliveries. We recommend that tenants notify Virtual Doorman of their guests in advance when possible.
When the guest arrives, they will interact with Virtual Doorman through the video intercom system. The Virtual Doorman will work with the remote operators to verify the identity of the guest and grant access. Tenants and building managers have access to see when their guests entered and how long they stayed. For example, if a tenant has hired a cleaning person or dog walker, they can see when their guest entered and when they left utilizing the Virtual Doorman mobile app or the interactive web portal.

VIRTUAL CONCIERGE
Virtual Doorman’s Red Hat Services can provide recommendations for a great local restaurant, book a spa treatment for you, and so much more. Virtual Doorman uses technology to provide relevant, real-time information to tenants which allow the remote doorman to offer concierge services that have standards equal to those found in a luxury hotel.

BUILDING MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Virtual Doorman assists in a multitude of building management responsibilities. The remote doorman system works with the remote operators to help with service calls, building correspondence, and day-to-day building operations. Virtual Doorman and our command center operators can assist with everything from maintenance and repairs to contacting vendors and allowing them building access when necessary.
The property manager has access to the building management portal so they can oversee the building operations and monitor their accounts. Building management couldn’t be easier when Virtual Doorman is on the job.

BUILDER MANAGER PORTAL
The Building Manager Portal gives property managers access to all the information they need about their building. Managers can log into the portal from anywhere with internet access. This allows property managers more freedom because they are not always required to be onsite to handle things such as deliveries or maintenance.

BUILDING SECURITY
Virtual Doorman also functions as a security system for your building. With the help of the remote operators, Virtual Doorman monitors the property’s security cameras, facilitates building access, and keeps an eye out for anything suspicious. Command center operators notify property managers of anything that doesn’t look quite right. Property managers and tenants can feel safe and secure when Virtual Doorman is on the job.

INTERACTIVE WEB PORTAL
Tenants and property managers have access to Virtual Doorman’s interactive web portal. There is a mobile app for tenants to check in guests, schedule deliveries, and utilize concierge services. The Virtual Doorman can be reached from anywhere so that residents can remotely manage their account.
Property managers have access to their Building Manager Portal through the interactive web portal, which allows them to manage the building from near or far.

REMOTE CAMERA VIEWING
Security is always a property manager’s first concern. With Virtual Doorman not only do we have remote operators monitoring your building cameras, but with our Building Manager Portal, property managers also can have full access to the building’s camera feeds from anywhere. The property manager can log on and monitor the security cameras to ensure the proper personnel are being granted access for maintenance, repairs, and deliveries. Property managers also have access to monitor building guests for safety reasons.
