Our story

In 2000, Virtual Doorman launched an entirely new industry when we introduced the first remote doorman system which revolutionized the real estate industry by being the first to provide traditional doorman services remotely. We have significantly evolved since we established the prototype more than a decade ago. With our background, not only in the security industry, but also in telecommunications and audio visual technology, we had a unique ability to bring together and integrate a variety of technologies to provide superior security solutions. The company saw the opportunity to utilize technology to create a cost effective yet secure alternative to the traditional doorman for small, luxury residential buildings. The concept of Virtual Doorman was created.

Since founding the company in 1997, Colin has been instrumental in developing the architecture and unique features for every evolving generation of Virtual Doorman from the beginning. His unique mix of technology and industry know-how has enabled the company to produce an affordable security package that truly revolutionizes personal services and security within the real estate market. As CIO, Colin is responsible for driving technology innovation throughout the entire organization. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business and tracking new technology developments to ensure that Virtual Doorman maintains its technological edge within the industry.

A Texas native and graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she joined Virtual Doorman in 2002. Prior to joining, she held various positions in marketing and business development in the publishing and technology sectors. Cristine serves as General Manager at Virtual Doorman and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the company. She is responsible for working with the CEO to manage the Company’s internal operations and support the sales and marketing process. With over 2 decades of experience, Cristine has enabled the company to establish Virtual Doorman as the market leader in the industry.
